"I had a gift certificate so i used it .I was pleasently surprised the pedicure with aubrey was excellent the facia by tanya l was one of the best I have ever had and the massage with jennifer was amazingly relaxing Im glad i tried it oh yeah and the inside is really grand beautifully decorated . I look forward to visiting again."

3/24/2011 I also heard about this salon from a Groupon.  

"Booked  Girls Nite Out with some of my buddies.  I understand this  space was recently renovated.  Overally the salon is very spacious with nice decor.While we had a few "hiccups' booking our appointments and getting the pricing worked out (no easy feat since there were 6 of us), once we arrived it was wonderful.   Because we had booked a Girls Nite Out we were given a special room (with snacks!)  for all of us to hang out/ chat  nd compare notes between services.

My experience was lovely.   Had a FABULOUS facial with Lyan.  I can't say enough - 5 star service.  I will return.

Had my very first pedicure with Amanda and I was a little nervous but she treated me with kid gloves and I really enjoyed it.  Topped that off with a manicure (again Amanda) which was equally enjoyable.  My hands and feet never looked better and I'll be back before I'm off on vacation to refresh my polish!

Although I didn't have a massage, two of my friends raved about Anthony!

All in all I had a great experience. As another reviewer mentioned the salon is easy to get to, with ample parking and nearby local restaurants for snacks after your visit.

"I had a massage this week at Shimmer. It was wonderful! A full hour of pure relaxation. The massage therapist was excellent. The salon is beautiful, I would definitely go back again."
